Geological conditions for research of wear of cutting elements of large machines in conditions of the Most Basin
The Brown Coal Research Institute began in the year 2018 research project aimed at optimizing the shape and material of cutting elements of excavators and mining machines. This research was essential for improving the efficiency of mining process in conditions of the Most Basin. The aim of this article is to present the results of the first stage of the solution. The article describes a characteristic of the geological conditions of main mining localities in the Most Basin.
