In autumn 2010, two unexploded aircraft bombs were uncovered in the area of the phonolite quarry Želenice due to a stone debris slide. After their disposal by pyrotechnists, the place of their occurrence was confronted with results of a geophysical survey which was conducted in 2000. The surveyconfirmed that the location of the bombs corresponded with the most distinct anomaly revealed by the survey. The paper assesses methodology, achieved results, bombs location, and other perspectives of geophysical investigation.
