Angular cylinders are often damaged on the GLINIK 06/15 POZS mechanical reinforcement. One of reverse engineering methods - 3D scanning and subsequent transmission of the data to CAD model was used in order to establish the cause of the damage. The reinforcement was scanned by "HandyScan - EXAscan" device, which was provided by the SolidVision company. The data were processed using "Geomagic Studio 12" software. As a result, a collision between the angular cylinder and reinforcement shield has been detected.
