Solid products of combustion of coal and biomass in the reclamation of the mine dumps

Ing. Pavel Schmidt, RNDr. Michal Řehoř, Ph.D., Ing. Lukáš Žižka, Ing. Petr Šašek, Ph.D., Mgr. Petra Mácová

The article provides a summary of the determined fundamental properties and chemical composition of solid products after combustion of brown coal and biomass, which will serve as a basis for the assessment of the applicability of these products in reclamation works, in particular in the areas of large surface mines and localities otherwise affected by industrial activity. The results show that this substances are potentially interesting material, but thanks to the variable composition, they have to be characterized in detail before they are used to avoid the negative impact on the environment. The carried out works are partial results of the project of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic named "Methodology of sustainable farming in anthropogenically damaged landscape".
