Anthropogenic soils are soils whose formation and development has stimulated or influenced a human by his activities. One of such cases is the creation of anthropogenic soils in the framework of agricultural reclamations eliminating mining activities in the countryside. Reclaimed land is returned to the Agricultural Land Fund (ZPF) after the end of biological reclamation and should be assigned a code for the evaluation of soil and ecological unit (BPEJ). However, in the case of anthropogenic soils we are facing the fact that there are no separate codes for this specific soil type to inform the owner or user about the origin and nature of the land. The current practice is thus forced to categorize these soils as existing main soil units (HPJ), but which involve soils naturally evolving. The aim of the paper is to familiarise with one of the possible approaches to the integration of anthropogenic soils into this land evaluation system.
