Geomorphological interpretation of measurements in the Jezeří exploration gallery

Leveling measurements of vertical movements in the Jezeří exploration gallery have been taking place since 1985 and thus belong to the longest performed measurements in the vicinity of the ČSA open-pit mine. At present, levelling measurements in the Jezeří gallery are included in the comprehensive network of monitoring of the side slopes of the ČSA open-pit mine. The aim of the levelling measurements in the Jezeří gallery was to verify the possible influence of surface brown coal mining in the ČSA open-pit mine on the stability conditions of the tectonically disturbed crystalline rocks of the Krušné hory Mts. The measurement results reflect the basic lithological and structural differences of the geological environment in which the gallery is excavated. At the same time, the measurements showed different trends in spring and autumn measurements.
