Mobile misting device "MARS 1" with RMJ 630 N3

The increased concentrations of dust in the air are perceived as a significantly obstructing element. In the work environment, dust can also cause health risks. The Research Institute for Brown Coal, Plc. has been dealing with the issue of reducing dust in workplaces for many years. As part of its activities, it has introduced and successfully implemented a number of technical innovations in the mining practice, which have successfully prevented the spread of dust from the source to the surrounding environment. The presented article aims to provide summary information on the latest mobile misting device. It also briefly informs about the development of the prototype of this device, performed partial operation tests and in situ tests, which were carried out at the place of installation of the device as part of proving its effectiveness in the dump area of the state company DIAMO.
