doc. Ing. Milan Mikoláš, Ph.D., Ing. Tomáš Růžička
Zpravodaj Hnědé uhlí 2013, 53(3)
The article describes the transportation of mining equipment in the Vršany mine which took place last year. It can be assumed that transportation to a similar extent will not be repeated in the future of the Czech brown coal mining for its specific conditions. The article is engaged in the passage of the technological equipment from the beginning, i.e. from the issues in preparations, implementation of the technical measures on the transport route, to the transport from the mounting location in Vršany itself to the initial mining deployment in the Slatinice spoil heap. Transport route was due to complex technical and technical-organizational measures...
Long term complex measurements on the brown coal deposit
Ing. Vlastimil Moni, Ph.D.
Zpravodaj Hnědé uhlí 2013, 53(3)
The article deals with the realization of the long-term comprehensive measurement in "in situ" conditions in the winter and the summer period on selected brown coal deposits carried out in the framework of the second stage of the TA CR project in the ALPHA program with the title "Research of possibilities of prediction of self-heating and subsequent self-ignition of brown coal fuels". The contribution aims to briefly inform about the progress of the work in the year 2012. The project is focused on the research, development and validation of the comprehensive method for an early identification of the beginning of an irreversible condition of the brown...

Series of pyrolysis tests of samples with different ratio of brown coal and biomass of wood sawdust were carried out in the frame of the grant project no. GA 105/09/1554 "Conversion of Czech brown coal with substances rich in hydrogen as a procedure to obtain liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons". The yields of individual products of pyrolysis - liquid organic phase, pyrolytic water, solid and gaseous products - were studied and measured. The originated organic liquid phase was treated by hydrogenation in a hydrogenation reactor. The hydrogenated products were evaluated with regard to their quality. The total number of 11 samples of hydrogenated organic...
Results of the pedological research in the area of the Lake Most in the period 2012-2013
RNDr. Michal Řehoř, Ph.D., Ing. Marcela Šafářová, Ph.D., Milan Fraštia
Zpravodaj Hnědé uhlí 2013, 53(3)
The article briefly summarises the pedological situation of the soils in the coast of the Most Lake. The first part of the article summarises the result of the research in 2011. Main attention is dedicated to 4 research activities carried out in 2012 and 2013. The first topic was geological and pedological mapping of the Most Lake coast. The second activity was periodical sampling of soils from the research pits, the selection of 11 interesting localities from a botanical point of view was the third activity and the study of the risk trace elements in the coastal soils of the Lake Most was the forth one.

Reclamation issues of devastated agricultural and forest soils in the Czech Republic have a long tradition, especially in the area of the brown coal mining. The increased demands of energetic fuel resources within the period of the industry building in the Czechoslovakia caused after the World War II devastation of considerable territorial complexes in the area of the occurrence of the coal deposits. The landscape formations on the territory of our Republic were changing naturally in the areas of the classic agriculture and forestry. The recovery of a devastated territory by the agricultural, forestry, hydric or so called other reclamation procedure...
