Quarternary vulcanoes in the Cheb region

The paper summarizes the knowledge about two geologically very young volcanoes in the Cheb region: Železná hůrka (Eisenbühl) and the nameless maar at Mýtina. The contribution deals with history of research of both localities, their volcanic development, tectonics of basement, setting of ejected rocks, their magnetic properties and pedological potential.
Ball track degradation of the spreader ZP 6600

The contribution deals with the investigation of the ball track state of the spreader ZP6600/Z79. It presents the results of the tests carried out on the collected samples and describes the procedure and results of numerical calculation of the stress state using the finite element method for the lower part of the ball track where it is in contact with the ball.

The report presents a brief summary of the available knowledge about the Růžodol dump, it summarizes the development of stability and hydrogeological conditions of the dump, influences of underground mining, informations about its basement and also about character of reclamations and surrounding landfills.
