Geological and pedological characteristics of the Most Lake shoreline - initiatory research results

The paper briefly summarises pedological characteristics of soil along the Most Lake shoreline. Geological conditions and the course of reclamation works of the former Ležáky open pit mine are also described. Moreover, the results of pedological and geological mapping of the shoreline as well as the results of laboratory analyses of soil samples taken along the shoreline are presented. According to soil properties, the shoreline of the lake was divided into three parts.
