Výsledky výzkumu mineralizace petrifikovaných dřev

Předmětem článku je mineralogie zkamenělých dřev nalezených na severním břehu přehrady Nechranice. Práce stručně shrnuje geologii širšího okolí a charakteristiku vlastního naleziště. Hlavní pozornost je věnována mineralogické analýze 12 zde získaných vzorků. Hlavním výsledkem je objev unikátního kmene palmy petrifikovaného vzácným minerálem fluorapatitem.

Research results of petrified woods mineralisation in Nechranice locality
Mineralogy of petrified trees found in the northern coast of water reservoir Nechranice is the object of the article. The work briefly summarises the geology of the surroundings and the characteristics of the locality Nechranice itself. Main attention is dedicated to mineralogical analysis of 12 samples taken here. The discovery of a unique palm tree petrified by rare mineral fluorapatite is the main result of the research.
