Deciding parameters of commonly exploited brown coal deposits suitable for the production of liquid fuels

The paper describes the purpose of the international project DIRPRIMCOAL, and one part of its solution, which deals with the sampling, analysis of the composition of commonly mined coal and determination of main deciding parameters determining its suitability for direct liquefaction process, which should be proposed under the project. The subject of this research task is to design direct liquefaction process, the process conditions, the use of appropriate materials and the selection and use of appropriate catalysts.
