Ing. Lukáš Žižka, Ing. Mária Jarolimová, Ph.D., Ing. Beáta Korandová, Ph.D.

Intensive hydrogeological exploration of Slatinice wastedump and its surroundings has been carried out since the year 2013. Its goal is to clarify the mode of groundwater flow and to ensure a reduction in strained groundwater levels encountered in these collectors. In the course of exploration works dozens of monitoring wells into the encountered collectors have been installed and equipped. Currently, more than half of the realized monitoring wells are fitted with monitoring devices produced by the company Fiedler AMS Ltd. The article summarizes the experience gained and the results of the completed hydrogeological monitoring system.
