The article deals with the mineralogy of secondary minerals at the ČSA site. The subject of the research was primarily the area of the coal seam bedrock at the bottom of the quarry. The main result was the discovery of the relatively rare mineral thenardite. This is the third occurrence in the Most Basin area and the first in the ČSA area. The mineral was determined by X-ray diffractometry on a D 5000 Siemens device.
