Air quality development in revitalised locality of Most Lake
- Výzkumný ústav pro hnědé uhlí a.s., Most
Air quality assessment in a revitalised locality of Most Lake is one part of the complex project "Impacts on microclimate, air quality, water and soil ecosystems in hydric recultivation of lignite quarries" No. TA 1020592. In air quality range, the solution of the project aims to find out significance of changes in air state near the lake which take place after changes of microclimate of the area of interest. Unique opportunity of hydric recultivation of the rest pit of the Most-Ležáky quarry is used during the research. Measurement is carried out in two zones and one reference standpoint. Lake close vicinity (50-100 m from the lakeside) is the first zone. More distant surroundings (1-3 km from the lakeside) is the second zone. The reference standpoint is in the distance of 20 km from the locality. Concentrations of locality characteristic substances: SO2, NOx, O3, VOC, NH3, dust fall-out and PM10 are measured. The article states results of continuous evaluation of SO2, NOx, O3, VOC and NH3 deposition determined through a diffusion method and dust fall-out from the 6/2011 till 9/2012 period.
