Protivýbuchová ochrana korečkových elevátorů

Korečkové elevátory se jako dopravníky sypkého materiálu vyznačují značnou efektivitou. Tažnými elementy korečků bývají řetězy nebo gumové pásy. Charakter dopravovaných materiálů nezřídka vytváří riziko výbuchu směsi prachu se vzduchem. Snahou je snížit riziko vytvoření výbušného prostředí i výskytu zdrojů iniciace. Pokud to nestačí, používají se zařízení na potlačení exploze jejím včasným detekováním a uhašením. Dále se provádějí konstrukční opatření snižující následky výbuchu - instalace elementů pro odlehčení výbuchu nebo pro bezplamenné odlehčení výbuchu. Je nezbytné předem posoudit rizika a určit nutnost a rozsah protivýbuchové prevence a ochrany.

Anti-explosion protection of bucket elevators

Bucket elevators are characterized by considerable efficiency as bulk material conveyors. Chains or rubber bands are the pulling elements of buckets. The nature of the transported materials often creates the risk of an explosion of a mixture of dust and air. The effort is to reduce the risk of creating an explosive environment and the occurrence of sources of initiation. If this is not enough, devices are used to suppress the explosion by detecting and extinguishing it in time. Further, construction measures are also implemented to reduce the consequences of an explosion - installation of elements for explosion relief or for flameless explosion relief. It is necessary to assess the risks in advance and determine the necessity and extent of explosion prevention and protection.
